Description
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR SOLICITATION W81XWH-12-R-0021. Question: The solicitation notes a $6.7M size standard, can the government please confirm that this is a small business set aside limited to this size standard. A: There will be an ammendment submitted under this solicitaion to change the NAICS code from 541611 to 811219, see amendement for justification. This solicitation will remain a Small Business Set-Aside. Question: For the equipment provided in the technical attachments that is currently or has been supported/serviced, please provide the servicing vendor (service provider) used. A: The equipment Manufacturer, Model and SN was provided in the technical exhibits. Using this information the interested vendor will have to determine the appropriate service provider to use to service the equipment. Question: Is there currently an online database in use to support this activity? If so what technology(ies) are used? Is this system available for use by the new contractor, was it paid for by the government? A: There is an online database in use by the existing contractor. However, this database is not owned by the government. Question: Pricing for the equipment in the attachments is understood to be for proposal and price comparison purposes, upon award, the government would require a formal quote for all equipment covered on the contract at that time, and accept or reject those quotes for service, is this correct? A: That is incorrect. Your offer is a formal quote used for award. Question: Will you provide a list of preferred vendors if other than OEM? A: No additional information will be provided at this time. Question: Can the Government provide maintenance history(ies) on the equipment listed? A: No, not at this time. Question: Is there a page limitation for the past performance and the price proposal sections of the proposal? A: No, see 52.212-1 Instruction of Offerors, only the Technical package is limited to 50 pages, not Past Performance or the Price posposal. Question: Is a paper hard copy, bound version of the proposal required for submittal along with the CDs, or only the CDs? If a paper hard copy is required, can all three sections be bound in one binder or are three separate binders required? A: The solicitation calls for a submission of 1 CD' (orginal) and 1 copy CD, no paper copies. This information for "Submission of proposals" will be found in the solicitation page's 39-40. Question: Will the Government allow an extension of the deadline to allow time to research pricing for all items listed in the technical exhibits? A: There will be no extensions to the proposal submission deadline at this time. Question: How many service calls on average are performed over a 30-day period? A: This is vague and un-detemined. Unable to answer at this time.
