- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Pre-Mach Inc, York, PA for the procurement of the following: 1. Low Loss Launch Valve Plugs LH (P/N 626727-4), Drawing No. 626727, 1 First Article Unit and 5 Production Units, with an Option of 2 additional units each. 2. Low Loss Launch Valve Plugs RH (P/N 626725-4), Drawing No. 626725, 1 First Article Unit and 5 Production Units, with an Option of 2 additional units each. The plugs are one of the major components that make up the Low Loss Launch Valve Assembly (P/N 626795-1/-2). Certifications for all material as well as welding procedures and qualification data are required. All inspections called out in the drawing are required. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, or from only one or a limited number of responsible source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. Any responses should reference N68335-12-R-0098.
