- John Day Lock and Dam Project, Sherman County, Oregon The elevators at the John Day Project are original equipment, have met their design life, and are requiring safety upgrades to current codes. This work includes all materials and labor required to ensure the Station Service and Bay 9 elevators meet relevant codes and standards for continued operation. The elevator shafts are to be upgraded to proper fire rating. Fire detection shall be installed at all landings, and elevator recall shall be established. New electrical and mechanical equipment shall be provided for each elevator. This effort will include all associated works required and described within the Plans and Specifications package. The contracted work is located in the State of Oregon.
