- The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (AIR-6.8.4), Patuxent River, MD 20670 announces its intention to procure, on a competitive basis, support for the Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI System), related Automated Logistics Environment (ALE), and Tactical Logistics IT Programs across all the Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Life Cycle Management Framework. This sources sought is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible business firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal (s). All interested small and large businesses are encouraged to respond. Please note that small businesses must be able to perform 50% of the work under the Sources Sought DRAFT Statement Of Work (SOW) in order to qualify as a capable small business. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The services will support the JTDI program in the areas identified in the attached DRAFT SOW. A capabilities statement, containing the technical task objectives of the DRAFT SOW, should be sent to Debra Kessler, Contracting Officer, NAVSUP WSS, P.O. Box 2020, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA, 17055-0788 or by email to debra.kessler@navy.mil. Submissions must be received at the office cited no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on May 9, 2012. Questions or comments regarding this notice may be addressed to Ms. Kessler via email no later than 2:00 pm Eastern Time May 2, 2012. The capabilities statement for interested small businesses should contain the following information and is limited to no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum, that demonstrates the company ™s ability to perform the services in the attached DRAFT SOW (attached). This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: (1) prior/current corporate experience performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three years, including contract number, organization supported, indication of whether as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government point of contact with current telephone number, and a brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the services described herein; (2) company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location (s), the DUNS number, (3) a statement regarding current small business status; (4) the company ™s strategy for adjusting their staffing to accommodate levels of effort over and above their current levels, including possible subcontract/teaming arrangements, (5) the company ™s ability to perform 50% of the work, and (6) the company name; the company address, and Point-of-Contact (name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address).
