THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Network 21, Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a Request for Proposal to award a construction contract to a General Contractor for Project 662-611 Emergency Preparedness Parking Structure at VA Medical Center San Francisco, located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Project scope includes: Construction of a new Parking Structure to perform all work as required by drawings and specifications. The new construction project will involve architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, landscape, and structural work. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) etc. and, bonding capacity. Interested firms should send, by E-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number; Maximum bonding capability for a single bid and; Total maximum bonding capacity. Please send Information to be Robin.Kaid-Amerson@va.gov by close of business May 5, 2012. Estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Information received, used, for determining if a set aside procedure will be necessary. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220.
