- Brand Name Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FM442721090193. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-58, Effective 18 April 2012, DPN 20120330, and AFAC 2012-0330, effective March 30 2012. This acquisition will be solicited as a brand name requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6515. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3841. The proposed Brand Name is for Stryker Sonopet parts. No other system is interchangeable with the sonopet. A Brand Name letter for Stryker has been attached to this combined synopsis/solicitation. Requirement Description: David Grant Medical Center on Travis AFB is in need of Stryker Sonopet attachments and tubing that is needed for exceptional control of soft tissue and fine bone dissection in close proximity to delicate spinal anatomic structures. The requirement is as follows. CLIN0001 - Univ.
