Description
Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Labor, OASAM Office of Procurement Services, on behalf of the Employment Standards Administration (ESA) intends to procure hotel conference space at a hotel in downtown Miami, FL. Specifically, the ESA is seeking hotel conference space to hold its Wage and Hour Division Miami Conference (See attached SOW). The government is not looking to receive quotes from conference coordinators/planners. Vendors must identify on their quote which 5 day period listed in section 1.3 of the SOW conference space will be available. The period of performance is for 5 days. This action will result in the award of a Firm Fixed priced contract with no option periods. Solicitation number DOL121RQ21449 is applicable to this procurement and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this contract action is 721110 and the small business size standard is $30.0 million. The anticipated award date is May 31, 2012. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. Award of this contract will be made on a competitive Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ offers the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable to the Government. In order to receive an award vendor must be able to accommodate one of the 5 day periods lasted in section 1.3 of the SOW. Questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing to the POC not later than 12:00PM EST on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Your offer must cite your Cage Code and Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS). Please ensure that your firm is CCR Certified (http://www.ccr.gov). All quotes must be submitted to the Point of Contact (POC) via email no later than 12:00PM EST on Monday, April 30, 2012. Failure to submit timely will exclude the proposal from consideration.
