Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the provision of commercial electrical services in accordance with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and the National Electrical Code (NEC) that is required to maintain the electrical needs and activities at Tioga/Hammond and Cowanesque Lakes Project. The service provider shall provide labor, materials and equipment to all locations within the Tioga/Hammond and Cowanesque Lakes Project. This area includes Tioga, Holiday, Nelson, Mansfield and Lawrenceville, PA. Justification: to provide electrical services in the absence of a certified project electrician necessary for the normal and safe installation/commissioning of various electrical components located throughout the project. The use of the BPA would be in the best interest of the government to enhance our capabilities without having to staff a full time electrician. Additionally this would eliminate safety risks associated with working on high voltage systems.
