- THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). The Navy Selection and Classification Office, Naval Personnel Command, Washington DC is in the process of further developing the acquisition strategy to obtain technical support services for Navy Selection and Classification Business Process Engineering. The purposes of this contract are to (1) develop, transition, extend, and maintain the Selection and Classification enabling technologies to Navy-wide implementation and integration within the Navy Manpower, Personnel, and Training Enterprise for Navy Total Force (both Active and Reserve components) and (2) to provide enterprise consulting services of Selection and Classification standards, policies, and business processes to assist the government in meeting the goals and requirements of the Navy s Selection and Classification Total Force (AC and RC) strategic direction and future vision. The period of performance will cover a one (1)-year base period with four (4), one (1)-year options. This acquisition will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). A DRAFT RFP is posted in conjunction with this synopsis modification notice. The government seeks industry input to further develop an acquisition strategy and identify interested vendors that have the capability to support this requirement within the designated location. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this effort is 541511. Comments regarding the attached draft RFP are requested at this time. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement that demonstrates the ability to support the requirement specified within the attached DRAFT RFP, and/or provide input to the Government on how to make this requirement more competition-friendly. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and business size, as well as any other pertinent information. Please respond by 4:30pm EST, 2 May 2012 via email to Rachel Armes, rachel.armes@navy.mil. The size limitation for emails is 5MB. File formats can be as follows: PDF, Word, Excel or Powerpoint. Files with the .zip extension cannot be received. Should your email correspondence exceed this limit, please submit multiple emails stating Email 1 of 3, etc. in the subject line. The government plans to use e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. The Government will provide email confirmation of receipt of your statements. If companies do not receive an email confirmation after submitting their capabilities statement, they are urged to verify receipt telephonically.
