- Sole Source “ Concurrent Technologies Corp. Solicitation Number: M67004-12-SU-MP059 Synopsis: CORRECTION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(iii), the Government hereby issues its notice of intent to sole source to Concurrect Technologies Corporation, (CTC), at Blount Island Command for Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) services. It has been determined that only CTC, the original provider of the Phase 1 analysis in 2011, is the only source that can supply the requested services without substantial duplication of cost and delays to the Government. This notice to sole source is for a follow-on contract to provide progress assessments and associated implementation support to supplement work already performed by CTC at the site and facilitates the sites ™ progress toward attaining VPP Star recognition. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii) a follow-on contract such as this for the continued provision of highly specialized services need not utilize full and open competition if it will result in substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delays to the Government.
