- oThe Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 has a requirement for the following work in accordance with specifications and drawings: Construction Project 626A4-12-201, "upgrade hot water heating system" is to furnish labor, materials, supervision, and equipment necessary to complete the design and renovation. This design/build work includes but is not limited to fire and safety, fire alarm, sprinkler, demolition, industrial hygiene, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical power and systems, etc. The Construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSNIESS (SDVOSB) CONTRACTORS. SDBOSB contractors must be verified and viewable in VETBIZ (www.vip.vetbiz.gov) prior to submission of proposal and prior to award of contract. Construction by special trade contractors, at least 25% of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel will be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of other eligible service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. (Will be 15% if it is general construction). Contractors must register a www.ccr.gov; https://orca.bpn.gov; and https://vets100.dol.gov to be eligible for award. All registrations must be up-to-date and correct. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 238220 with the small business size standard of 14 million. On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) must reflect a small business size certification for the NAICS code noted herein. Solicitation is to be posted to FEDBIZOPPS website (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or around May 1, 2012 with offers due on or around June 5, 2012. Paper solicitation will not be issued. Site visits will be scheduled with dates and times to be posted in the solicitation. Potential Offerors must obtain solicitation, specifications, drawings, and amendments (if issued) form this website. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to the solicitation prior to the time of closing.
