- Washington Headquarters Service intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to contract to Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC), 1326 Eighteenth Street, NW, STE 32, Washington DC 20036.. The Department of Defense (DoD) is energetically pursuing diversity through a magnitude of avenues to address barriers and issues impacting the full participation. The Office of Diversity Management and Equal Opportunity, (ODMEO) requests the support of FAPAC, to contribute to increasing diversity in the Department of Defense (DoD) workplace through outreach and programs. FAPAC will provide the following deliverable(s): o Access to FAPAC and all partner organizations at conferences and related events hosted by FAPAC o Key speaking and host roles at FAPAC events, when available, and as appropriate o VIP attendance at all FAPAC events o Access to middle, high school and college students and influencers participating in FAPAC events o Full access to FAPAC conferences and related events o Recognition as a key supporting partner of FAPAC o Exhibit booth space o Logo branding on website, program and distributed material o Opportunity to distribute educational materials and promotional items during the FAPAC events o Seven complimentary DoD tables at the FAPAC meritorious military awards luncheon o Speaking and other key support roles from FAPAC key members at DoD EEO and diversity-related events o Prime seating for DoD VIPs at FAPAC and DoD-hosted events This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 11:00 AM EST, April 26, 2012. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB.
