- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Activity-8, in support of James A Haley 13000 Bruce B Downs Tampa Fl 33612 intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award under Request for Quotation number VA248-12-Q-1225, with Cepheid a Large Business to provide MRSA testing kits. This procurement is a sole source award pursuant to authority of sections 502 and 503 of Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 (38 U.S.C. §8127 (b). This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to award a fixed price contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The NAICS code is assigned to this acquisition is 334516 and the large business size standard is 500 employees. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish MRSA kit in accordance with solicitation The contract performance period consists of: (6 April 2012 - 30 Sep 2012) these dates may be adjusted based upon actual date of award).
