- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Northern California Health Care System is seeking responsible sources to provide housing and supportive services to homeless veterans and veterans at imminent risk of homelessness. The services will be furnished to beneficiaries for who such care is specifically authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs, within the Sacramento County, CA Geographical location. It is understood that the type of patients to be cared for under this contract will normally require care and services above the level of meals, room and board. Care will include, but not be limited to, a supervised, alcohol and drug free environment, active affiliation with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) programs, supportive Social Service, structured and group activities, physical activities, and individual counseling as required (with special emphasis on vocational rehabilitation in collaboration with VA program sources). The beneficiaries receiving care under this contract will receive basic health and personal hygiene maintenance, monitoring of medications, and any other service or supplies normally provided. The North American Industrial Classification System 624229 with a standard size of $7.0 million. Contractors must be registered in CCR with the applicable NAICS codes listed on the RFQ. This is a negotiated procurement; there will not be a public bid opening. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FedBizOpps, you will first be required to register with CCR (Central Contractor's Registration) database. You may access CCR at the following URL, www.bpn.gov. Once you register with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Also, beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors were required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-57. Only electronic offers will be accepted.
