Revised RFI: This RFI SUPERSEDES original RFI posed JANUARY 31, 2012.N65236_SNOTE_0000000. Submissions are due nlt noon on 25 April 2012. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Code 6.3.2.0 is seeking ADDITIONAL INFORMATION on services to develop an Air Force Medical Services (AFMS) Strategic Communication (SC), Marketing, and Outreach function to provide (1) campaign plan development and execution, (2) executive level communication and marketing support, and (3) media, internet, and content technology evaluation, services, and support. These SC support functions will enable the AFMS to increase access to approved information for beneficiaries and health teams; ensure superior care and support of the total force; improve patient satisfaction and health outcomes; ensure a continuous increase in the visibility of AFMS policies, programs, and strategies at all levels; and enhance the reputation of the AFMS mantra, Trusted Care Anywhere. THE SC ELEMENTS WILL ENTAIL: (1) non-material: centralized communication, social marketing, and outreach efforts to include: employment of the social marketing campaign research, planning, implementation, and evaluation cycle; development of SC guidance and policies for 75 medical treatment facilities; monitoring and evaluation of ongoing social marketing and outreach campaigns which include digital health communication channels to improve patient activation, change management, maximize implementation of new AFMS initiatives, reputation management, and provide overall management and sustainment of the AFMS SC function. (2) material: must have the ability to evaluate, design, test, and integrate innovative health website, social networking services, social media, virtual support group, and mobile medical applications, technologies, or services to encourage increased personalized and participatory care SUBMITTALS: The information received shall be reviewed to conduct objective, comparative assessments and validation of commercial equipment and systems. This RFI is for information GATHERING AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY, and SHOULD NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. SPECIFIC INFORMATION SOUGHT INCLUDES: 1. Company information, including name, address, and URL 2. Whether the company is a manufacturer, distributor, or service provider. 3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contacts phone number and e-mail address 4. A brief description (75 words or less) of capabilities and existing or related products. 5. Any relevant cost information such as purchase price and General Services Administration (GSA) schedule information.
