Description

The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is seeking a firm capable of performing Elevator Modernizations on two (2) existing hydraulic passenger elevators ; the following work will be performed at the U.S. Federal Building/Courthouse, 211 Ferguson Street, Tyler, TX. The scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to, Modernize Two (2) existing hydraulic passenger elevators. Provide new : solid state microprocessor controls, jack, and cab. All work performed under this contract shall meet or exceed the current ASME-A17.1 Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards., and the Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). The estimated cost range for all work is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238990 with a size standard of $14 Million. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. The solicitation documents will be made available on or about April 25, 2012. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the Central Contractor registration at http://www.ccr.gov and have completed on-line representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov.
