Description
The Ottawa National Forest announces an opportunity for the construction repair work of Two Mile Creek wetland rehabilitation. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204(b), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website on or about April 25, 2012. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the project on time and on schedule. The scope of work is to remove two 100 foot sections of an abandoned rail road grade. The work includes but is not limited to, mobilization, selective clearing of parts of the old grade, instillation of silt fence, removing rail road ties, excavating two 100 foot sections of the grade, spreading the spoils of the remaining grade, removing and disposing of railroad ties and seeding and mulching.
