The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) is releasing a DRAFT solicitation for Individual Protective Measures Training. The VACA intends to release s solicitation for a competitive multiple award IDIQ with Task Orders containing multiple Firm Fixed Price and/or Time and Materials Task Orders for services as specified in the RFP documents. This notice constitutes DRAFT documents associated with the solicitation identified as HHM402-11-R-0258. This announcement is to assist prospective Offerors in the development of proposals for future submission pending release of the final RFP. VACA is encouraging industry input/comments from all interested firms, which are due by 1200 on Monday 16 April 2012. We will not be responding to comments. The Virginia Contracting Activity intends to release a final RFP around the end of April 2012, or early May 2012. The North American Industry Classification Code is 611430. It is the responsibility of prospective contractors to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. No pre-solicitation conference nor industry day is scheduled for this acquisition. INPUT/COMMENTS: All industry input and comments must be submitted IN WRITING to ann.schellman@dodiis.mil, cc michelle.crecca@dodiis.mil, no later than 1200 on 16 April 2012. Phone calls will not be accepted. Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of any contract. You may register at www.ccr.gov. This notice is for planning purposes only, and does not commit nor obligate the Government to any contractual agreement. The Government will not award a purchase order or contract based upon vendor responses to this announcement. The Government does not assume any costs associated with industry responses to the DRAFT solicitation documents.
