Description
The Department of Labor (DOL) has a requirement for the National Journal Group subscription services. This requirement is for a base plus three (3) option year periods to provide the National Journals Congress Daily AM & PM subscription (print and via email), the National Journal Hotline subscription (via email), and the National Journal Congress Daily Magazine subscription. A sole-source, firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The proposed contract action is for services which the government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511120 with a size standard of 500 Employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists. Responses to this synopsis must be in writing. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Response must include the capability statement and reference this synopsis by number and title. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet this requirement by e-mail lamb.michael@dol.gov, April 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM EST. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
