Description: This Sources Sought notice is a synopsis posted by the SDDC Acquisition Center seeking possible sources for this requirement. This notice is neither a solicitation for work or supplies, nor is it a request for quotes, proposals, etc. In particular, our office is seeking companies who can potentially become the suppliers of OEM replacement parts for the various government-owned vehicles and watercraft. Government personnel assigned to the 596th Transportation Brigade, Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point, Southport NC 28461, are currently performing the maintenance; therefore, the potential supplier(s) would be responsible for providing the replacement parts only - no labor. Interested companies must have the following qualifications: - Ability to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and accessories that meet or exceed the quality of the part furnished on the original piece of equipment - Ability to provide an estimated delivery date, especially for back ordered parts/items. - Responsibility for all commercial shipments to include costs associated with loss and damage. - Ability to track all shipments to final destination. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment on behalf of the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The Government intends to establish competitive Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with responsible companies that can supply required vehicle and watercraft parts. Establishment of BPAs will be based on the most advantageous discount terms, delivery times along with other positive performance factors presented by the Contractor. Contractors are advised that while the Government may establish multiple BPAs, we will only establish the number of BPAs believed to be sufficient to meet our mission needs and regulatory competition requirements. Please reference the attached DRAFT BPA Terms and Conditions, which includes an exhibit that lists the most commonly serviced equipment for which OEM replacement parts will be required. If your company is interested in this planned procurement, please provide the following information: 1) Business Name and Address; 2) Business Size and Applicable Socio-Economic Status for NAICS 336399 (e.g., Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned, etc); 3) CAGE Code and/or DUNS Number; 4) A short capabilities narrative on your firm; 5) A detailed description (including size, scope and dollar value) of your company's experience in performing similar efforts. Be specific as to type, nature, location, services provided, and provide a POC reference (name and phone number); and 6) Name and email address of a point of contact for clarifications/further information.
