Description
Amendment 001 Pre-Solicitation Notice PRE-SB1341-12-RP-0019 The purposes of this amendment are as follows: 1.To provide information on the incumbent contractor for this requirement. The primary incumbent contractor is Booz Allen Hamilton. Booz Allen Hamilton performed the work as a prime contractor of the Information Assurance Technology Assurance Center (IATAC) contract vehicle administered by the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), which NIST and other agencies have used for the past nine years. 2.To inform all interested parties that NIST will host a Pre-proposal Conference following the release of the official Request for Proposal (RFP). This conference will be held at the NIST Gaithersburg, MD campus. It is expected that the Pre-proposal Conference will be held approximately one week after the official RFP is released. Offerors will be allowed sufficient time after the Pre-proposal Conference to prepare and submit their proposals in response to the RFP. The Pre-proposal Conference is intended to exchange information and resolve concerns involving the requirements, the evaluation criteria, and other aspects of the RFP. More detailed information, including the official date, time and agenda for the Pre-proposal Conference will be released simultaneously with the official RFP. However, interested parties who will attend it should anticipate the conference between April 25, 2012 and May 4, 2012. For interested parties that cannot attend the conference in person, a call-in number will be provided in an amendment to the RFP. 3.To clarify that NIST may or may not award more than one ID/IQ contract as a result of this RFP. The quality of the proposals submitted in response to this RFP will dictate whether or not it is in the best interest of the Government to award more than one ID/IQ contract. END OF TEXT.
