- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. The solicitation number is P12PS21572 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No paper copies will be sent. Notifications of any changes will be made as modifications to this announcement. To receive an award, vendor must maintain a current registration at www.ccr.gov. Type of Procurement: Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement, Base Year plus Four Option Years, with yearly price reviews. NAICS Code is 722310, Food Service Contractors, and the associated Size Standard is $35.5 million. DESCRIPTION OF WORK:Fire Meals Blanket Purchase AgreementStatement of Work Yosemite National Park has a requirement to provide meals for fire and emergency crews during the fire season and prescribed burns. These meals consist of breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages. Transportation of hot food containers and utensils will be provided by the Government on take-out orders. Hot food containers will be sanitized at the vendor's facility. Vendor must be located within one hour (driving time) of the Crane Flat Helibase located at 8176 Big Oak Flat Road, Yosemite National Park, 95389. Once hot food containers are loaded with meals, the food must be delivered and consumed within 4 hours according to national standards. Vendor must be logistically capable of delivering within these limitations. The strenuous nature of fire fighting makes it imperative that meals be both nourishing and plentiful and must meet the caloric requirements established by National Catering Contract Standards. The nutritional requirements are: Breakfast: Price $_________Buffet or3 eggs, scrambled or fried, 3 strips bacon, lb slice ham, or 3 sausage links2 pieces whole wheat toast, muffin, or Danish6 oz. portion potato, pre-baked, shredded or fried1 pt. milk1 apple, orange or 6 oz. fruit juice3 pre-packaged servings jam or jelly and 3 of butterSalt & pepper packets1 8 oz. cup of coffee Lunch: Price $_________(Packed in paper sack or box, taped shut & dated) One 8" or larger sub sandwich, individually wrapped, lb. of fresh, sliced beef, ham or turkey, or pastrami,fresh lettuce, sandwich-sized slice of cheese If vegetarian lunch is requested, each sandwich shall consist of 2-3 oz. cheese (jack, cheddar or Swiss), tomatoor avocado and sprouts 3 ea. packets of mustard, mayonnaise salt & pepper1 fresh apple or orange1 large candy bar (non-melting) or 1 large cookie10 oz. juice Dinner: Price $_________Buffet or chicken, spaghetti and meatballs or at least 8 oz. of Beef, ham, pork chops, steak or turkey. [Note: if dinners are ordered for more than one day, entre must be varied] 6 oz. potato (baked, mashed, fried or scalloped)4 oz. vegetable (corn, green beans, etc.) 2 fresh rolls with butter4 oz. salad made with a minimum of three items (lettuce, tomatoes,cucumbers, carrots, etc.) dressing in separate container or packet. 3 ea. Packets of mustard, catsup, salt, pepper, butter1 pint of milk1 dessert (cake, cookies, pie, pastry)8 oz. cup of coffee Beverage:Coffee by the gallon will be furnished at no charge in sufficient quantity to provide one cup per meal on breakfast and dinner take-out orders. Containers to be furnished by the Government. Each meal provided includes appropriate disposable flatware and napkins. Notification for take-out orders will be made a minimum of two hours before the service is required. The number and type of units needed will be specified. Food must be ready at the pre-arranged time and must be kept hot until pick-up occurs. Hot food must be delivered and consumed within 4 hours of preparation. Walk-in meals shall be priced as posted to the public. Please provide current pricing for the following: Breakfast $_______Lunch$_______Dinner$_______ Individuals charging items in excess of these limits shall pay the difference to the cashier at the time of purchase. Note: The above charges are subject to change due to economic adjustment factors. However, all prices above will be in effect until a modification is written to reflect a price change.
