STATEMENT OF WORK Replace Wood Door 9th floor PROJECT# 211 March 2012 1.General: a.The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, and reports required for the removal of a wood door on the 9th floor and replace with a metal door, this work will take place on the 9th floor of the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Facility. Any work determined by the COTR as having a significant impact on the daily operations of the facility shall be conducted on an after-hours schedule. All work shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications. In the event of a discrepancy, the VA Specifications shall take precedence. All federal, state, and local code/regulations/standards shall be followed. b.The work will consist of removing the old door and replacing it with a metal door. The door will be painted color selected by VA. c.The contractor shall verifying all existing conditions details and dimensions of all sizes for any and all materials that will be need to complete the replacement of the wood door with a metal door for the entrance of the 9th floor. It shall be the contractor's responsibility for any/all modifications and material that are required to install all products. The contractor shall be responsible for patch and repair any wall, ceiling, doors and floors that may get damaged by the contractor during renovations. d. The above scope of work is intended to describe the project in general. The contractor shall abide by all Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) guidelines when performing this project. The contractor shall protect the floor from all construction demolition. e.The contractor shall follow all federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and standards, and all work shall be performed during normal business hours 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday excluding national holidays. The work shall be coordinated through the designated Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR), Mike Somoga. All contractors shall have an identification badge on them at all times with their name and company clearly ident
