Description

RECOVERY - THIS ACTION IS BEING FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009, PUBLIC LAW 111-5. This notice is provided for "Informational Purposes Only" and is in compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements set forth by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, Public Law 111-5. The Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division (AMD), intends to issue a non-competitive 8(a) firm fixed price Task Order against GSA Contract Number GS06F0942Z, 8A STARS, 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STAR II) to Dakota Consulting Incorporated, 1110 Bonifant Street, Suite 310, Silver Spring, MD 20910-3358. The Task Order is for the Contractor to work with the HL7 Messaging Work Bench (MWB) tool and use the "NCPDP SCRIPT Implementation Guide: Version 10.6, to update the existing NIST NEWRX Messaging Workbench model as necessary to include all EDIFACT fields and all XML tags defined for the NCPDP SCRIPT NEWRX message version 10.6 (EDIFACT and XML versions); generate an EDIFACT NEWRX conformance profile using the Messaging Workbench model for use in the NIST HL7v2 toolset; and, update the existing NIST NEWRX Messaging Workbench documentation to incorporate the changes made to the model.
