Site 1: Jiskra, Jones, Hodowanic & Wadewitz Group • construction of 1110' long embankment with a rock chute spillway that has a light gauge sheet pile cutoff • construction of two ditch plugs • fill for the embankment and the ditch plugs will be excavated from designated borrow/scrape areas, which will be located adjacent to each structure • existing culvert in the ditch will be removed and disposed of off-site • clearing and grubbing needed to access and complete construction at the ditch plug sites • upon completion of construction, all disturbed areas will be seeded Site 2: Kruppe • construction of three small embankments and two scrapes on the north ditch • construction of a ditch plug on the south ditch • fill for the three small embankments and the ditch plug will be excavated from designated borrow/scrape areas, which will be located adjacent to each structure • material excavated from scrapes will be spread on adjacent upland areas • clearing and grubbing needed to access and perform construction at the ditch plug site • upon completion of construction, all disturbed areas will be seeded Site 3: Neuhring • excavation of soil on the upstream and downstream sides of the existing sheet pile weir structure and use material to create a coffer dam • area behind the coffer dam dewatered and kept dry during the duration of construction • excavation of fill from designated borrow area on east side of existing embankment and truck over the embankment to the weir structure. This fill material placed on both sides of the weir using manually operated power equipment. After fill placement is complete, coffer dam removed and site reclaimed to original conditions, including seeding disturbed areas. Site 4: Mallo • repair existing ditch plug by excavating fill from borrow/scrape area located adjacent to the plug. Use fill to restore plug to originally constructed dimensions. • upon completion of construction, all disturbed areas will be seeded PROJECT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 35 calendar days. SITE SHOWING: A site showing will occur Wednesday April 25, 2012, 11:30 am. Attendance at the site showing is not mandatory. The site showing is the only time interested participants will have access to the sites. Participants will meet at the site access point identified in Attachment 1, Site Showing Meeting Access Map. There is a field road on Kruppe's property off Lessard Road to the south. Use Kruppe's east access route, see Kruppe's planview (page 4). White NRCS vehicles will be visible at the site access point.
