The items, estimated quantities and required deliveriesare as follows: Production Article MYC: NSN: 1560-01-004-8749FL, P/N: 35-33076-4; NOUN:Aircraft Access Door; Applicable to KC-135 Aircraft; Current QTY: 13 ea;Delivery: 1 Jan 2013 IDIQ Contract with a 3 Year Ordering Period, BEQ is 29 for the total 3year requirement, Minimum Order Quantity is 3 each and Maximum OrderQuantity is 13 each, with a Total Contract Maximum of 44 each. AMC: 1G First Article: NSN: 1560-01-004-8749FL, P/N: 35-33076-4; NOUN: AircraftAccess Door; Applicable to KC-135 Aircraft; QTY: 1 lot; Delivery: 1each TBD. CONTRACTOR FIRST ARTICLE, NONE TO BE EXPENDED; In addition, atest report, certificate of compliance, material certification, andpossible Boeing drawing updates will be required. All proposals received within 45days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered bythe Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Specifications,plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incompleteor not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: The Competition Advocate (CA) at each contracting activity/office(as defined in DLAD 2.101) shall act as the ombudsman and attempt toresolve contractor complaints. DLA Aviation's AOB CA/ombudsman can bereached at (405) 734-8241, facsimile (405) 734-8129. Complaints whichcannot be so resolved shall be forwarded to the HQ through J-72 forresolution by the DLA competition advocate. Each activity isresponsible for developing procedures for executing the duties andresponsibilities of its local ombudsman. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
