Description

Issue Date: 03/29/2012 Response Date: 04/04/2012 Classification Code: R Solicitation Number: VA-101-12-Q-0012 The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO) intends to extend the current Transcription Services Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contracts. The Transcription Services contracts provide ongoing transcription of hearing conducted by the Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA). The current IDIQ contracts are set to expire on March 31, 2012. The proposed action will extend the current 3 month period of performance by 1 month to April 30, 2012. There are 3 current IDIQ awardees, as listed below: 1.Diaz Data Services, LLC 2.Bell Services Group, Inc. 3.York Stenographic Services OAO is currently in the process of evaluating proposals; a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement will be made pursuant to FAR Part 8.4 Federal Supply Schedules, FAR Part 8.405-3 Blanket Purchase Agreement. This is not a formal request for proposal under FAR Part 8. This notice indicates the anticipated extension of the current IDIQ contracts. This is not a request for quotes. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or any other costs incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
