- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement; unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities. The United States Army, 325 TPC(A), Regional Command South requires the purchase of Radio-In-A-Box (RIAB). These RIABs are used to broadcast vital PSYOP messaging to the local population of Afghanistan. The CENTCOM Contracting Command - Reachback (C3R) intends to make an award to Ramsey Electronics, 590 Fishers Station Drive #3, Victor, NY. 14564-9744. Interested parties may email gloria.i.gutierrez7.mil@mail.mil no later than 02 April 2012, 8:00a.m. CST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to 02 April 2012 at 8:00a.m. CST. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
