- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Kentucky Army National Guard is seeking a contractor to provide training on an Automatic Building Machine (ABM) MIC 120 KSPAN. Kentucky Army National Guard owns two ABM MIC 120s machines. This requirement will include instruction on how to operate the machine, and perform maintenance on the machine. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. If you are not registered as a small business there is no need to respond to this RFQ. The evaluation criteria for this requirement will be lowest price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability will be determined by past performance. The training will be conducted in three phases. Phase 1: On site ABM inspection 1 May 2012 (2 days, 16 hrs) This will consist of a representative from your organization to travel to our facilities which are located in Greenville Kentucky. This will be a comprehensive machine service inspection and inventory. After the inspection a detailed report will be provided indicating the machines current status as well as a list of required services, repairs, and or replacement that will make the machine fully operational. Phase 2: ABM Operation Training 13-24 August 2012 (10 days, 80 hrs) Teaches up to 20 Soldiers how to set up and operate the MIC 120 machine. This will take place in Greenville Kentucky. This training session includes training on all aspects of the ABM operation, including basics foundation and structure design, crew composition and responsibilities, machine operation, calibration, production, assembly, and erection procures. All construction material will be provided by the Kentucky Army National Guard. Phase 3: ABM Maintenance Course 24-28 August 2012 (5 days, 40 hrs) Training focuses on performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and trouble shooting. This will also take place in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Sources possessing experience and demonstrated capability to accomplish the services required are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to perform the required services. Information furnished must not exceed 5 pages and should include an outline of previous or similar projects references from similar projects must be included as well. You should also include your DUNS number and Cage code; this indication should be clearly marked on the first page of your capability statement.
