Description

The Charles George VAMC, Asheville, NC is seeking the services of a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business for work which includes, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, supervision, alterations necessary to remove and install a new nurse call system at the VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC. Work will include (but not limited to) demolition of existing nurse call system at various locations in the two buildings, installation of a new nurse call system to include call system, code blue system, and communication between the bedside and nurse staff via intercom and wireless communication (pagers and phones). Work includes installation of conduit or install in existing cable tray low voltage wiring and power for the master station. Disciplines include electrical. All work will be in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. Work will take place on a vacant ward with occupied space below. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14.0 M. All work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection and clean-up. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Solicitation will be posted on/about 12 April 2012. The date for bid opening will be on/about 16 May 2012. A pre-proposal/walk-through will be held on/about 23 April 2012 Bldg 15, Room 330. These dates are estimates.
