Description

The Charles George VAMC, Asheville, NC is seeking the services of a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business for work which includes, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, supervision, alterations necessary to a install ground source heat pump at the VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC. Work will include (but not limited to) site work to include drilling approx. 75 wells, associated piping to the pump building, installation of new water pumps, associated power for the system, and demolition of existing chiller. Disciplines include electrical, plumbing, and HVAC mechanical. All work will be in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. The NAICS code for this procurement is 221310 with a small business size standard of $7.0 M. All work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection and clean-up. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Solicitation will be posted on/about 12 April 2012. The date for bid opening will be on/about 16 May 2012. A pre-proposal/walk-through will be held on/about 23 April 2012 Bldg 15, Room 330. These dates are estimates. Firms submitting a bid must be registered at both Central Contractor Registry and Vet Biz.
