- RFP Amendment Announcement 0001 for EPS CAPS Notice of Amendment 0001 to RFP # FA8808-12-R-0001 for Enhanced Polar System (EPS) Control and Planning Segment (CAPS) SMC/MCXN (EPS Program Office) 483 N. Aviation Blvd, Bldg A8 El Segundo, CA 90245-2808 Contracting Officer: Ms. Natalie Tunnell, (310) 653-9530 General Information Point of Contact: Mr. Noble Smith (310) 653-9294 The Space and Missile Systems Center, MILSATCOM Directorate (SMC/MC) at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California is releasing Amendment 0001 to the Request for Proposal (RFP), FA8808-12-R-0001, for the Enhanced Polar System (EPS) Control and Planning Segment (CAPS) Development Contract today, 28 March 2012. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 517919. The amendment includes administrative changes and updates to the following: Model Contract, Section L, Attachment 8 - Rights in Data, GRD 1 (CP1-Software Data Sheets), GRD 4 (GSOW), GRD 10 (CAPS Compliance and Reference Docs), CDRLs 65 & 81, CAPS Technical Requirements Document (TRD), EPS Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and SI-5145 Volume 1. All industry comments received to date, with EPS Program Office responses to each, have been compiled into a comment resolution matrix (CRM) and posted to the EPS CAPS Bidders Library. Note that proposals are still due by 28 April 2012 at 4:30 pm, which is sixty (60) days from the date the RFP was issued. All of the RFP documents are located in the EPS CAPS Bidders Library. Offerors may request access to the Bidder's Library by contacting Ms. LaMia Keenan by email at lamia.keenan.ctr@losangeles.af.mil or at (310) 653-9393 (Alternate POC: Mr. Noble Smith, noble.smith@losangeles.af.mil or at (310) 653-9294) and must obtain and sign a Non-disclosure Agreement prior to accessing the Bidders Library. All information in the EPS CAPS Bidders Library is at the unclassified level, however the Bidders Library does contain the instructions for accessing all classified documents referenced in the RFP.
