Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The South Dakota Air National Guard (SDANG) requests quotations for the purchase of the Public Address Sound Production and Technical Support for the "Power on the Prairie" Air Show event scheduled July 21 and 22, 2012. Please refer to the attached Statement of Work for a complete description of this requirement. Instructions to Offerors: For the Government to properly evaluate each offer, the following information must be submitted. Failure to submit the following information may result in a "less than" positive rating for Past Performance and/or Technical factors: 1) Offerors must ensure completed past performance questionnaires from no less than 3 previous events within the past 3 years that represent a project/event similar in scope, size, complexity and client type to this Statement of Work. Template transmittal letter and questionnaire form are attached. 2) Your firm's standard quote documents can be submitted but should not omit any of the information as requested in this RFQ or in the Statement of Work. Please make quotes valid for a minimum of 30 days. 3) Offerors are advised to pay particular attention to the statement of work and the salient characteristics therein and submit enough additional information to enable the Government to fully ascertain the technical considerations of an equivalent offer. Quotes are due by 4:00pm central time April 10, 2012 to Kurt Lunstra, via email kurtis.lunstra@ang.af.mil (email preferred) or via fax 605-988-5997. Basis for Award: Quotes/offers will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 and 52.212-2 and the Government plans to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, past performance and technical factors considered.
