- The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground Natick Contracting Division has a requirement for the following items; TrueOne 2400 Metabolic Measurement System and TrackMaster TMX425C Treadmill with TrueOne Interface. U.S. Army ACC-APG NCD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ParvoMedics, Inc. Sandy UT under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The equipment listed above is required to monitor metabolic activity (oxygen consumption, heart rate, respiratory rate and energy expenditure) of subjects in MND USARIEM Protocol H10-03: The Musculoskeletal Response to Energy Deficit; Defining Optimal Protein Intake and future protocols. An additional treadmill and metabolic cart are required to run additional subjects and provide backup for MND protocols. The system must have an ECO interface to collect ECG data. Additionally, to meet metabolic measurement standards in extreme environmental conditions, the system must use the Yeh Algorithm. Devices must be compatible with seven devices currently located within USARIEM. The Government has determined that the equipment listed above best meets MND requirements and specifications as described. ParvoMedics Inc is the only manufacturer, vendor or distributor for the TrueOne 2400 Metabolic Measurement System and TrackMaster Treadmill. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516. The Standard Industrial classification (SIC) Code is 3826 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract.
