Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Sole Source of a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contract Office-Fort Bliss is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation, reference number W911SG-12-T-9109, as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, & FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 424720, " Petroleum and Petroleum Products Merchant Wholesalers (except Bulk Stations and Terminals)", with a small business standard of 100 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-55 effective 2 February 12 and DFARS Publication Notice 20120130. DESCRIPTION: CLIN 0001: 2,000 Gallon, Double-walled fuel storage tank Request 2,000 gal dbl walled fuel storage tank, or adequate tank that meets California requirements, delivered and set-up at equipment yard for the duration of the period of performance. Tank is to include a 12-volt electrical or gas powered pump, 12 volt battery if electric pump, adequate hose (approx. 20 ft) and fill nozzle to service engineer construction equipment. CLIN 0002: 25,000 gallons of No. 2 Diesel Fuel Request No.2 Diesel (over the road) Fuel, delivered, as requested/required, to stationary fuel tank located at an equipment yard on the U.S. / Mexican border off of Monument Road and close to International Park in Imperial Beach, CA. Estimated fuel requirement is up to 25,000 gallons total during the period of performance at incremental deliveries as requested by unit Period of performance is 4 Apr - 24 Aug 2012. Request fuel is delivered within 24 hours of vendor notification. Responses must be received No Later Than (NLT) April 2, 2012; 12:00 PM (Mountain Standard Time).
