Description

Cover Letter Business Management Questionnaire Specs Solicitation Document This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is CT2079-12 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005- 57. The North American Industry Classification System code is NAICS 313240 (Knit Fabric Mills). This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business; small business size standard for this solicitation is 500 employees. Items furnished under a small business set-aside must be manufactured and produced in the United States. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year, with two (2) option years, firm fixed price requirements type contract. The product is a commercial item, gray colored t-shirt fabric, delivered to one (1) location (FCI Jesup, GA).
