Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Synopsis shall be voluntary. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the NAICS code 334511. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is 750 Employees. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey and provide their contact information to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field FL is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide repair to an ENERTEC Flight Data Recorder. The potential requirement will consist of all management, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to perform maintenance/repair services on one (1) ENERTEC DS-4100AW (SN-99) unit for the 18 Flight Test Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The contractor shall accomplish all testing, tear-down, maintenance, and repair of broken or malfunctioning equipment and shall provide replacement equipment as required IAW the Statement of Work (SOW). The work shall be performed at the contractor's location. Prospective offer must possess proprietary data in order to perform all repairs; the Government will not provide this data. This request may not directly lead to a Request for Quotation/Proposal. Deadline for submission is 2:00 p.m. CST, 30 March 2012.
