Description
As previously announced on 17 February 2012, the 2012 US Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Advance Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) will be held in May to provide information regarding requirements in support of HQ, ASC world-wide operations. The purpose of this revised announcement is to inform all contractors interested in Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) requirements that some PEO EIS actions have been transferred from the Army Contracting Command National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) to the Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI). These transferred requirements will be included in the briefing presented by the Executive Director, ACC-RI, during the APBI. The briefings will NOT include ammunition items. The APBI will be presented at the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Midwest Small Business Government Contracting Symposium. The NDIA Midwest Small Business Government Contracting Symposium is scheduled for May 22-24 at the I Wireless Center in Moline, Illinois. The APBI is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23, from 1:00 to 5:00. Planned events include a briefing on the State of the Command by MG Patricia E. McQuistion; an Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) update; a presentation by entrepreneur and small business owner Eric Adolphe, CenterScope Technologies; and a panel discussion with ASC senior leaders. Those planning to attend the APBI must register to attend the NDIA Midwest Small Business Government Contracting Symposium.
