Description

Sole Source Documentation DLA Troop Support, Directorate of Medical Materiel, intends to award a sole source contract to Nuance Communications, Inc., for the purchase of a Powerscribe version 5.0 software upgrade for Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA. The Powerscribe software is a product of Nuance Communications, Inc. This requirement will be solicited orally under solicitation number SPM2D1-12-Q-0137. No written solicitation will be posted. A Sole Source document in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) is attached. Any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contract Specialist, Jethro Maldonado, via email to jethro.maldonado@dla.mil no later than 3:00PM EST on March 30, 2012. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Any responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, DLA Troop Support will proceed with awarding a firm-fixed price contract to Nuance Communications, Inc.
