Description
The Air Force Association, Langley Chapter will host the 7th Combat Air Forces (CAF) Airpower Symposium at the Langley AFB Bayview Commonwealth Center on 16 May 2012. Headquarters Air Combat Command, will provide all briefers for this event. The CAF Symposium theme is "Securing the High Ground: Dominant Combat Airpower for America." The 7th CAF Airpower Symposium will feature senior leadership and eminently qualified speakers discussing topics vital to national defense interests. General Mike Hostage, Commander Air Combat Command, is scheduled to give the opening remarks. Planned session topics include Air Superiority, Precision Attack, Personnel Recovery, Integrated ISR, and C2 Core Functions, plus a senior officer discussion panel. The Symposium is an outstanding opportunity for us to continue to strengthen our government-to-industry relationships, foster an excellent exchange of information with senior leaders, and provide information to our industry partners on future CAF business opportunities. We encourage your involvement in this important event. There will be an Air Force Association hosted reception for Symposium participants at the Langley Club on Wednesday 16 May following the Symposium. On Thursday, 17 May, the Air Force Association will host the Salute to Air Combat Command and Team Langley with a golf tournament at the Langley AFB Eaglewood Golf Course, followed by a Salute Dinner in the evening at the Langley Club, with both open to Symposium attendees. Register for the golf tournament and Salute Dinner as you register for the Symposium at the web sites listed below. If you can join us, please have each participant complete the registration package at www.langleyafa.org.
