Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation nor a request for quotes. The purpose of this announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources, including their size classification. This Sources Sought Announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and this announcement does not restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government shall in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541930. The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Michael E. DeBakey Medical Center is seeking information on a potential contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, materials, and services, and otherwise do all things necessary for and incidental to provide American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter services at the Michael E. DeBakey VAMC (MEDVAMC). Sources interested in this notice shall submit the following information: 1. Company Name; 2. Address; 3. Point of contact; 4. Phone, fax, and e-mail; 5. DUNS number; 6. Tax ID number; 7. Size of business pursuant to North American industrial classification system (NAICS) 541930; 8. A capability statement that addresses qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described. Responses to this notice shall be in writing by e-mail addressed to kieu.dinh@va.gov. with "American Sign Language" in the subject line. All responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 PM CST. March 28, 2012. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
