Description
This is a full and open competition Magnitude of Construction is $1.0M - $3.0M In accordance with the FAA's Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements, the FAA Alaska Contracting Office has a requirement for the construction of a new Flight Service Station (FSS), in Dillingham (DLG), Alaska. RFP DTFAWN-12-R-00109 is issued effective Thursday, March 22, 2012. The closing date is Friday, April 20, 2012, at 1:00pm Alaska Time. NAICS Code for the requirement is 236220 Commercial & Institutional Building Construction. A NON-REFUNDABLE fee for the package with a half size set of drawings will be $200.00. A package with a full size set of drawings will be $250.00. Checks are to be made out to FAA. Requests for the RFP may be submitted in writing or by phone call to the Contracting Officer. Requestor must clearly state which package is being requested. To be considered for an award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base (website: www.ccr.gov) This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
