Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z0372067A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-57 effective March 7, 2012; Defense DCN 20120312 effective March 12, 2012, and AFAC 2012-0104 effective 04 January 2012. This acquisition is set aside for small-businesses; The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621. The business size standard is $12.5M. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J099. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is7382. Travis AFB has a requirement for one-year service and support contact for the CP currently installed BridgePoint Physical Access Control System IAW attached specifications. 1. 0001-AA- Seeking one-year service and support for the currently installed BridgePoint Physical Access Control System. 2. Service/support needed for 9 BridgePoint Door Readers, 4 BridgePoint Door Controllers, 1 Computer Enrollment Station, and 1 Server. 3. Supplier will be responsible for servicing, supporting and maintaining the BridgePoint supplied hardware and software listed in item 2. 4. Two onsite training sessions will be provided which will include education of the operation and basic trouble shooting of the PACs software and hardware. 5. Supplier will provide firmware upgrades to system as needed to support new CAC and PIV data formats on the contact/contactless chip. To include upgrades to the readers, controllers and software as needed. 6. Supplier will install regularly released upgrades to the BridgePoint supplied PACs and enrollment software. 7. Supplier will repair or replace any hardware which fails or becomes unreliable during the term of agreement. 8. Technicians will be available for telephone support on a as-needed basis to answer questions and provide troubleshooting and guidance 9. If technicians via phone are unable to resolve problem being experienced with 5 hours, with 24 hrs of request then the supplier with have a certified technician on site to resolve the problem FAR 52.204-9 Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel; FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
