Description

A-SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Ambit Group, LLC. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) intends to award a sole-source contract to Ambit Group, LLC for the continued General Standards support service. This acquisition is being conducted under Part 12, Commercial Items utilizing the GSA Federal Supply Schedule 70 SIN 132.51. The intended procurement will be classified under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561499 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.0 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes and no solicitation exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted only by email as a Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Excel or Adobe PDF attachment to Michael.Raynack@va.gov. Statements are due by 12:00 Noon EST on Thursday, March 22, 2012. No phone calls will be accepted.
