Item Function: Temp control valve consists of a rotary DC actuatorwhich drives a hot air butterfly type valve in a housing which interactswith the hot air bypass duct. Material: Aluminum, Stainless Steel. Currently Hamilton SundstrandCorporation (Cage 73030) is the only known source that can satisfy theGovernment requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Hamilton SundstrandCorporation (Cage 73030). An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of theProgram Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractorconcerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriateGovernment Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposal or in the source selection process.
