Description
This is a sources sought notice for small business within the Washington-Metropolitan area to ascertain if there are interested, capable, and qualified small businesses that may provide round trip Shuttle Bus Services. This sources sought is for informational and planning purposes only. No questions will be provided responses and no proposals are being requested or will be accepted at this time. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposals (RFP) and no contract shall be awarded from this sources sought notice. The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) anticipates the issuance of a RFP for solicitation for a sole contractor(s) to provide labor and equipment for Shuttle Bus service to transport personnel to and from the DIAC building on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, to the North/South Navy Parking lots, Anacostia Metro/PSD Station, L'Enfant Plaza, Bethesda MD (Friendship Heights Metro) Monday through Friday. Services to be performed in connection with this arrangement shall be performed in accordance with applicable Federal, DoD regulations and directives. The times and locations may be subject to change at the discretion of the Government which may add or delete services as needed. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice or any follow up information requests. Security clearance requirements require that all personnel assigned to any subsequent procurement action shall be U.S. citizens and must be able to obtain permission and assisted access to the installation. Interested small business shall respond to this sources sought notice with a copy of their company capability information via email to wayne.johnson@dodiis.mil, no later than 12:00p.m. EST on 20 March 2012. No more than six (6) pages will be accepted. All interested contractors must be registered in the CCR (www.ccr.gov) and provide their Duns numbers with the capability information.
