The Army Contracting Command - Redstone intends to issue a modification to Contract W31P4Q-11-C-0177 to increase the scope of the current effort of Engineering Service Hours for FY12. The intended scope increase will include efforts related to the functionality of the ATNAVICS and FBPAR Systems. This is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee requirement on an existing Contract W31P4Q-11-C-0177 to be modified for FY12 Engineering Service Hours with an additional requirement of 120,000 hours for FY12, applicable to the ATNAVICS and FBPAR System. This requirement will be solicited using other than full and open competition and negotiated on a sole source basis. Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Road E, Marlborough, MA 01752-3770, Cage Code: 7Y193 is the prime contractor who retains the proprietary data rights to the manufacturing processes, engineering data and software packages required to perform the require services. Raytheon designed and developed the ATNAVICS and FBPAR hardware and software and is the only system manufacturer. The Government does not own the ATNAVICS and FBPAR production configuration technical data package documentation necessary to perform the hardware or software engineering services required. This synopsis is for notification of subcontracting opportunities. Subcontracting opportunities must be arrange between the prime and any potential subcontractors. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
