Description
Sources Sought Fire Equipment Maintenance Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron (ECES), at Manas Transit Center, Kyrgyzstan is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing "Fire Department Equipment Testing". The contractor shall provide the services listed below. All services shall be performed in accordance with inspection and testing set forth by the manufacturers and certification requirements of the national institute for occupational safety and health (NIOSH), and the national fire protection association (NFPA) AFOSH, OSHA and contractor company standards and testing procedures. All work shall be performed on site, by one team of technicians, holding current CAC cards, in one service visit, without the use of subcontractors. All work will be performed on Manas Transit Center, Kyrgyzstan. The vendor will be responsible for but not limited to; A. confined space equipment testing B. air cart testing C. compressor servicing D. air testing E. A-level and B-level suit testing F. calibrations G. ladder testing H. structural pump testing I. rescue equipment annual service J. parts and labor for repairs K. contract data requirements (Final Report) The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811310. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email) and must be received not later than March 21st, 2012 at 10:00AM EST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to the requirements above and NAICS 811310. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, and point of contact. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email ) and received not later than March 21st, 2012 at 10:00AM EST. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
