- Solicitation Solicitation Number: FA5706-12-R-0006 Due: 12:00pm GST Supply or Services Classification Code: FSC: R608 / NAICS: 541930 / SIC: 7389 / SIZE: $7M Requirement: Contractor shall provide Cultural Advisor personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to locate, screen, hire and maintain linguists capable of modern standard Arabic and standard English (minimum at the 9th grade level) to serve in the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). Linguists shall be assigned to the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW) and the 405th Air Expeditionary Group (AEG). The linguists' primary function is to furnish administrative and interpreter services for the following locations: 380th AEW and all tenant units and the 405th AEG. These duties include, but are not limited to, acting as a liaison on behalf of the wing/group leadership or authorized designated representative, interacting and coordinating with Host Nation personnel to include matters of security, medical and ministry personnel, deployed United States (US) military personnel, security of assets/resources, and base defense. Other related duties may be assigned by the 380th AEW or 405th AEG commanders or authorized designated representative, at the AOR site under the general scope of this contract. The linguists will also accurately translate orally, and produce English/Arabic language documents as required. Please read all attachments thoroughly. Please adhere and only respond to solicitation 1 - draft (solicitation 2 is a repeat and is not going to be considered). FAR part 19 does not apply to contingency procurements.
