Description

The Nursing Service, located at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Audie L. Murphy Division (ALMD), 7400 Merton Minter, San Antonio, TX 78229, has a requirement for registered nurses to provide 2400 hours of service yearly. All services provided under the terms and conditions of the contract will be provided at the STVHCS ALMD and the Kerrville VA Medical Center, 3600 Memorial Blvd, Kerrville, Texas. The initial period of performance is April through March 2013, with one (1) one-year option renewal period. The award will be made to the responsible offeror based on technical capabilities, past performance, Veterans Involvement/Socio-Economic Indicators, and price. The intent is A FSS Small Business Set-Aside which will result in a fixed-price service contract. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is VA257-12-Q-0295. The applicable NAICS code is 621399 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. Telephonic request for the solicitation will not be accepted. When issued, the solicitation will be available only by downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov/. The estimated issue date is March 13, 2012 and the anticipated closing date is March 26, 2012 at 3:00:00 PM Central Standard Time.
